Visitor Guidelines & Hospital Hours

We welcome family and friends to support their loved ones during recovery, while maintaining a quiet, sterile, and healing hospital environment.

Timetable

Designated Visiting Hours

Structured visiting hours ensure patients receive adequate rest and medical treatments without interruption.

Inpatient Wards & Rooms

Morning Session:10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Evening Session:4:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Maximum 2 visitors permitted at a time in private rooms to ensure patient rest.

16-Bed Critical Care ICU

Morning Briefing:11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Evening Briefing:5:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Only 1 immediate family member allowed in ICU. Sterile footwear and hand sanitation required.

Attendant Pass Policy

1 Attendant Pass is issued at the time of admission, granting 24-hour access to the patient room.

Please wear your attendant pass visibly within hospital premises at all times.

Infection Control & Patient Safety Rules

Richmond Hospital maintains strict surgical sterility standards to prevent hospital-acquired infections.

Sanitize Hands Before Entering

Use the automated hand rub dispensers placed at the entrance of each ward and before approaching patient beds.

No Outside Cooked Food

To maintain hygiene and doctor-prescribed diets, outside cooked food is discouraged. Canteen dietary services are provided.

Child Visitor Policy

Children under 12 years of age are not advised in inpatient wards to safeguard them against potential infections.

Silence & Phone Etiquette

Please switch mobile devices to silent mode in corridors and ICU waiting areas to preserve quiet rest for recovering patients.
