Established in 1998, Richmond Hospital was born out of founder Mr. V. Rajappan's vision for world-class surgical hygiene, 90-bed capacity, and accessible orthopedic care on Trichy Road, Coimbatore.

Richmond Hospital, the super specialty Orthopaedic centre established in the year 1998, is located in the heart of Coimbatore along Trichy Road with ample parking space, calm and free from pollution.
Our beloved founder Mr. V. Rajappan, a science graduate, developed deep conviction towards working for a social cause after his wife tragically passed away due to the lack of adequate medical facilities. Determined that no other family should endure such a loss, and inspired by his international travels, he recognized the paramount importance of hygiene and clinical cleanliness. His vision took shape as Richmond Hospital in 1998, built to international standards of sterility.
Following his passing in 2002, the sacred responsibility was carried forward by his brothers. Under the leadership of Director & Head of Orthopaedics Dr. V. Ranjith (MBBS, D. Ortho, DNB Ortho, Fellow in Arthroplasty - Germany) and Managing Director Dr. V. Vivekanandan (Senior Pathologist with 30+ years experience), Richmond Hospital has overcome countless surgical challenges, becoming an internationally recognized destination for Joint Replacements (Knee, Hip, Shoulder), Birmingham Hip Resurfacing, Kyphoplasty, and Polytrauma Care.
